Greeting
GCS workshops are medical research conferences focused on providing physicians (plastic surgeons, dermatologists and medical aesthetic practitioners) with the latest academic updates for their professional progress in the plastic surgery, dermatology and aging science fields. GCS bring together the latest evidence-based techniques from prominent speakers and the newest developments from the major industry players.
The primary objective is to build a bridge between plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology, reinforcing knowledge in each field in the junction of those two fields, covering as well aesthetic surgery, non-invasive aesthetic treatments, clinical dermatology, regenerative medicine and more. A medical congress is nothing without its contributors. At GCS we recognize the value that our speakers, exhibitors and participants bring to each of our congresses. As such, we have constituted 6 Task Forces made up of GCS speakers and participants who help ensure that GCS constantly pushes the boundaries and distinguishes itself in terms of content quality, innovation and education in the fields of plastic surgery and dermatology. The Task Forces are comprised of international members who are assigned tasks for the development of each of the 6 areas.
.
Each and every edition is dedicated to the interdisciplinary research of plastic surgery, dermatology and aging science, with a scientific program built to bring the highest quality of education to our attendees for the best and safest patient treatment outcomes.
Our Mission and Vision
The mission of GCS is to lead the Aesthetic Medicine specialty in education and training and to advance the knowledge and practice of the specialty worldwide. GCS seeks to enhance the competency and professionalism of aesthetic physicians in providing responsible, safe and a high standard of care their patients. GCS achieves this through a faculty comprised of professionals who are actively involved in their own practices and possess extensive expertise in aesthetic medicine.
GCS endeavors to raise standards of knowledge and skills through GCS courses through closer collaboration with other aesthetic medicine bodies; ethics advocacy; sharing the practice economics of aesthetic medicine; advocating that aesthetic medicine can complement conventional medicine and others such as dermatology, cosmetic or plastic surgery; and by organizing medical congresses and medical ventures summits.
GCS is dedicated to providing doctors with training on the foundation of the science and art of aesthetic medicine. The practice of aesthetic medicine is not the sole prerogative of any single medical discipline. Yes, there are doctors who devote wholly to aesthetic medicine practice just as there are others who apply aesthetic medical procedures alongside their respective fields of medicine.
